Financial New Year’s Resolutions

I recently sat down on the show “Your Carolina” to discuss New Year’s resolutions, along with my friend Katie Sorbocker, a personal trainer from Anytime Fitness. We both have information to help you achieve your goals.

Setting goals in the new year—most of us have done that. However, this is the time of year when many of us start to stumble over those goals a bit. Two of the major New Year’s resolutions are to save money for a down payment on a home and to get in shape, and today we have you covered for both.

Many people stay in apartments or rental homes because they think they don’t have enough money for a down payment.

Visit MyGreenvilleHome.com/Gym for a chance to win a free membership to Anytime Fitness for a year! The wonderful thing about Anytime Fitness is that they’re a 24/7 gym, so you can come in anytime. They will always suit your schedule. Also, once you’re a member of the gym you’re a member of all of them; they have 4,800 locations, even Antarctica! When you become a member you get two free, private, personal training sessions to ensure you know what you’re doing and feel comfortable using the machines. A membership also comes with a variety of free classes.

If your goals are financial, I’m here to help. Many people stay in apartments or rental homes because they think they don’t have enough money for a downpayment. However, you don’t have to put as much down on a house as you think. At 3:00 in the video above, you can see a breakdown of an example of how much you could pay with a conventional loan, and many people can qualify. You don’t need perfect credit, but you need good credit. At 3:35 in the video above, you can see a breakdown of what you may pay if you qualify for a 0% down program.

If you have any questions concerning real estate, please reach out via phone or email. I would love to speak with you.
