This week on My Greenville Home Radio, Dan is talking with Tara Rowland, Co-Founder of SolePower, a local organization dedicated to giving shoes and socks to people who need them across the Upstate. SolePower began in 2019 and has donated over 200 pairs of shoes since!
Dan and his team at Hamilton & Co. Keller Williams will be hosting a shoe drive for SolePower until Thanksgiving, 2022. If you are interested in participating, please bring your new and/or lightly used shoes and new socks to our offices at 403 Woods Lake Road, Greenville SC 29607. All shoes sizes are welcome, but women’s and children’s shoes and socks are the biggest need. We have a donation box located in our lobby to the right of the building entrance, and our office is open Monday-Friday 9am – 4pm. If you cannot drop your donation off during our business hours, give us a call at 854-527-7685 and we will arrange another drop-off time.
Can’t make it to our donation box before Thanksgiving but still want to help? Tara will personally pick up your gently used shoe donations, making SolePower the perfect, locally organized alternative to Goodwill for your next closet purge. All donations will benefit Shepherd’s Gate, a part of Miracle Hill Ministries dedicated to providing safe housing to mothers and young children experiencing homelessness in Greenville.
