Homeowners in Drexel Terrace are eligible for membership in the Drexel Terrace Community Association, which retains ownership of eight acres of greenspace, on which nature lovers can observe many small animals and birds. This area also contains a walking trail, picnic area, and playground.

Country View Estates is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Taylors. Established in 1996, the 135 homes that make up Country View estates are considered some of the finest in the area, with emphasis on quality craftsmanship and impeccable landscaping. This subdivision also has attractive amenities, including a swimming pool, cabana, and large recreation area.

Parks and Recreation

Taylors boasts several parks for enjoying the outdoors. One of the most notable is the Pavilion Recreation Complex, located at 400 Scottswood Road. This location has something for everyone in the family, including skating rinks, (both inline and ice skating), a playground, bounce houses, and tennis courts.

There is even a dog park for the furry members of the family! Instructional and after-school programs are available for children, and picnic shelters are available to rent for family gatherings. Residents of Taylor receive discounts on rental rates.

Avid baseball aficionados may want to visit David Jackson Park, located at 25 Fowler road. Located on fifty acres, its five baseball diamonds make this location a favorite for baseball and softball tournaments.
